A classic family run bar/restaurant where the local workers meet for an apero then lunch. Home cooked food, often including horse, a true old fashioned French experience. There used to be many of these places when I first started working in France, I hope this one continues with its success.

Every time I come back to Gravelines, my first thought is to go to this traditional restaurant where the meat is incredibly tender. Jannine and Béatrice will serve you throughout your meal.My favorite dish in this restaurant remains the homemade cassoulet for which Jannine has the secret recipe. For me it remains the best cassoulet: the Chaurians just have to watch out

Jeanine is the heart of this restaurant. Adorable with children, she serves the little ones first, which is rare these days and yet it allowed my son to be calm throughout the rest of the meal .The meal was delicious and more than reasonably priced. The meat is incredibly tender. I can only 1000% recommend this restaurant, especially since it is open on Mondays, which is rare for a restaurant See you soon Jeannine and thank you for your kindness
